Q. How long will it take my web solution to be built?

A. The length of time depends upon the scope of the web project. For a small web sites containing approximately six to eight pages, the timeframe could be three to six weeks. Web sites that will support a gallery of images, will depend upon the amount of work involved to organize and post the images. A typical medium size site with approximatley twelve to thirty pages will take approximately two to six months. It is very difficult to pinpoint an exact timeframe, as each site is unique, and as such we customize the development to meet your needs. Our library of web tools provides many options for your project.

 

Q. What will it cost?

A. The cost of your project will depend upon the scope the the work, including the number of pages, whether or not you want to use Flash components, number of images, any audio and/or video elements, interactivity, multi-language capabilities, guest submission forms, register, log-in, Extranet capabilities, database application components, as well as inventory and/or image control software modules for mangement. In addition, customization to meet your unique needs will be taken into consideration. Our prices are competitive and we are able to meet budgetary requirements by scaling down the scope of the project to meet these needs.

 

Q. How are updates handled?

A. Since we consider your web project to be a growing, living work which needs tender care and support, we will diligently tend to the daily maintenance. This means that we make sure your site/application is in good working order and there have not been any problems with browsers, hackers, viruses, etc. The site's content will be updated by our company, to insure proper placement, creation, navigation and the like. If you are using the inventory and/or image control programs, which we authored, then you may use these mangement tools at any time. Also, if your site contains our end-user text editing compontent, then this may be used for your content updates. Generally, our company updates your site whenever, you request it. All of these items are considered to be on-going web support services. Please refer to the next item for additional information.

 

Q. What does on-going support include?

A. Our on-going support services include: routine, daily maintenance as described above, 24-7 access to technical support via e-mail and telephone support during our general business hours 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. EST. Also included, is updating your content, images, graphics, Flash elements and virtually anything contained in your site. New pages with corresponding navigation links, e.g., adding new announcements, news items and the like. The monthly support fee is based upon the size and scope of your site. Hosting charges may also apply, if we host your web site. We recommend that we host your site, for ease of maintenance and as a cost effective solution which we pass on to you. However, if you are working with a web hosting company that you like, then we would be more than happy to work that company and have them host your site. Our web site monthly support is extremely competitive and beneficial to your site. If you elect not to sign up for our monthly support services, then we would invoice on a time and materials basis, if and when your web site requires updating, at our then current hourly fee.
