The goal of this site is to give music fans of internationally acclaimed Ginamaria Hidalgo an easy way to listen to her music and maintain a connection with her. This site features a Spanish mirrored site, whereby all text on the site is translated and a separate site is maintained. In addition, this site supports a photo gallery; Flash presentation slide show; downloadable MP3s; an e-store, as well as automatic display of time-context sensitive content and images at the anniversary date of an event and/or holiday. A guestbook form gives us immediate automatic e-mail when a visitor submits the form. This site is visited, on average, by approximately 1,000 people a day, with increased traffic of a hit or more per minute during her birthday, the Christmas holiday season, and the Day of the Mother, the third Sunday of October in Argentina. A Special Pages content form provides for an archival component of all of the unique content features of the site. The goal of this site is to build a web database application to provide college students
an on-line way of submitting their
student teaching, observation and book reports with subsequent on-line instructor feedback response
forms. Since the student's have to submit numerous reports throughout the semester, the instructor
needs a way to read through each report and respond either to one or a number of reports. As the
instructor scrolls through the reports, flags to indicate that the report has been reviewed and
responded to may be checked - assisting in the management of the reports. The data may be
accessed in a number of management views/windows.
Featured on this site is a password-protected Extranet for students; automatic e-mail
notifications when a student report is submitted; a database management console for
the instructor to manage his or her students, courses and reports, as well as a
private lesson assignment form for the instructor to fill out during the lessons.
With customizable data fields and screens, the instructor may specify priority and
duration as well as comments for each of the private lesson assignments. Automatic e-mails
are generated to the private lesson student once the form is submitted, with the option to
also send the e-mail to the parents.
